About Unroll

Unroll is a new way to experience Scripture. It feels like scrolling a social feed, but every post is the Word of God. Scroll the story, tap any post to go deeper, and swipe to move between chapters. It is free, and you don’t need an account.

The Scripture

Every word of Scripture in Unroll comes from the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), exactly as published. We change the presentation, never the text. Automated checks confirm that every verse of every chapter appears once, in order, word for word.

The Holy Bible, Berean Standard Bible, BSB is produced in cooperation with Bible Hub, Discovery Bible, OpenBible.com, and the Berean Bible Translation Committee. This text of God’s Word has been dedicated to the public domain.

Images and animations

Images, illustrations and animations are artistic interpretations to help you picture the story. They are not photographs of real people or events. Different posts may imagine the same person differently, just as different artists would.

Study notes and prayers

The “Go deeper” notes, historical background, reflections and prayers are written resources to help you reflect. They are clearly separated from Scripture and are not Scripture themselves.

Narration

Narrated passages use the public-domain BSB audio Bible, read by Bob Souer.
